In this video, Mrs. Williamson shares her inspiring journey, beginning with the founding of Circle C Ranch Academy over 40 years ago in Tampa. As a highly respected preschool leader, she became known as the “Queen of Children with Autism,” supporting countless families and creating an inclusive environment where every child could thrive. It was through this work that she discovered her deep passion for education and advocacy.
Driven to make an even greater impact, Mrs. Williamson successfully ran for the Hillsborough County School Board in 2014, where she served until 2018. During her time on the board, she championed initiatives that saved taxpayers money, supported military families, and ensured that every student—regardless of background—felt seen, supported, and valued.
Mrs. Williamson also reflects on the importance of listening to the community first, a principle she learned from the late Eddie Adams, and how that philosophy continues to guide her leadership today.
This heartfelt introduction offers a glimpse into her lifelong commitment to education, service, and bringing people together for the betterment of all students.
